The Diploma of Business provides an overview to many of the business functions and equips students for work in a range of business positions. This qualification has been designed by industry professionals and will teach you a broad range of general business skills. The course covers a range of competencies including planning e-marketing communications, managing risk, managing budgets and financial plans, managing recruitment selection and induction processes, identifying and evaluating marketing opportunities, developing workplace policy and procedures for sustainability, and managing operational plans.

Duration

Up to 12 months until competencies are achieved.

Course Structure

This Courses has a total  number of 12 units

5 core units  plus 7 elective units.

Specialisations 

This qualification can provide for specialisations. To achieve a specialisation, the following additional packaging rules must be adhered to:

  • For specialisation in Business Operations , 4 elective units must be selected from Group A *

  • For specialisation in Leadership , 4 elective units must be selected from Group B *

  • For specialisation in Organisational Development , 4 elective units must be selected from Group C *

  • For specialisation in Compliance , 4 elective units must be selected from Group D *

  • For specialisation in Business Development , 4 elective units must be selected from Group E *

  • For specialisation in Digital and Data , 4 elective units must be selected from Group F *

  • For specialisation in Records and Information Management , 4 elective units must be selected from Group G *

  • For specialisation in Procurement , 4 elective units must be selected from Group H *

  • For specialisation in Evaluations , 4 elective units must be selected from Group I*

 

* Is an extensive list of business business electives that is available for students to choose from. 

Fees

Tuition and Resource Material Fee

  • Total Course Fee (resource material inclusive): $3000

 

Entry requirements

All clients enrolling in this course will be over the age of 15 and literate in both written and spoken English.

Language, Literacy and Numeracy

All students will be assessed on their Language, Literacy and Numeracy needs and will be provided with extra tuition and support if the institute deems necessary.

This course is offered as distance-based training and assessment where students are able to access the learning materials via the online learning system. No classroom training or attendance is required.
